The shop was established when the Arcade first opened in 1984 and has earned the reputation of being Bowral’s Premier Chocolate Shop and now Ice Creamery!
Bowral is located in the Southern Highlands less than two hours from Sydney and Canberra and is a perfect escape for city-weary travellers, a growing economic region and a wonderful environment for families.
Experiencing all four seasons, sometimes in a single day, Bowrals climate is reflected in the constantly changing colours of the local flora.
With the colder days now upon us try our famous "Hot Chocolate" drinks made from real couveture or our "Highlands Fudge" with over 35 varieties available. Talk to the Fudgemaker and learn the differences between a real fudge made from fresh butter and cream and the many sugar based toffee variations.

Name change for The Blue Brown BagAfter many years under the name The Blue Brown Bag, the owners of the store have renamed it Sweet Sensations Bowral. The name change allows the shop to grow more into its area of expertise - confectionery.
With the addition of ice cream, Sweet Sensations is now providing a full range of dairy products including milk shakes, thick shakes and iced coffees. For a gourmet taste try our deluxe shakes made from the premium ice cream range available on the day. As the weather cools remember to try Bowral's best Hot Chocolate (made from the finest Belgium couveture), or Highlands Fudge, another favourite only available at Sweet Sensations Bowral.
